The George Street Revitalization project plans to redevelop Seaton House (Toronto’s largest homeless shelter) into a men’s shelter, a long-term care facility, assisted living units, affordable housing and a community service hub. Using a harm reduction, community-building and anti-oppression approach, several basic principles have been established.
